The people behind ADELA

Hi there! We are Sara and Alberto, founders of ADELA THE STUDIO.

We've dreamed of launching our own project since almost forever but we didn't have a clear vision or concept in mind. After many years together, we noticed we were drawn to the same style, the same cuts, and even ended up swapping clothes every other day. That’s when we realized: that's it, that's our brand - Minimal and timeless designs that can be worn everyday by anyone, made of quality fabrics, locally and ethically produced.

In Spain we say "hacerlo como de toda la vida" which would be something like "to do things in the way it's always been done". And when it comes to making clothes, we think that's the right way"

Local production

Every garment is 100% crafted in Spain in small, experienced workshops where every stitch is made with dedication and care. Supporting local workshops not only ensures the highest quality, but also helps preserve these trades while promoting honest and sustainable jobs.

Social Responsibility

We aim to make clothes in a more conscious way, so it not only feels good to wear them, but to stand behim them. Most of our pieces are produced in a women-led social enterprise in Spain that creates job opportunities for those in need. We are proud to support our community in this way and will be forever thankful for you being part of this.

Sustainability & Deadstock

Deadstock fabrics are left-overs textiles from previous production runs. By giving this fabrics a second life, we reduce the need for new fabric production & this allows us to produce exclusive limited edition pieces.

Intentional design

Every design, fabric & even colour choice is intentional. Our goal is to make everyday staple pieces that can be worn easily with your favourite clothes of your current wardrobe.
